Karosa is a bus manufacturer from the Czech town of Vysoké Myto, since 1999 it has been part of the Irisbus holding. Since 1997, the production of an updated series of buses "800" has begun. In the same year, a new "900" series was designed.

LC936XE Series

The 47-seater tourist bus LC936XE is made on the basis of the same first urban version, but received a 295-horsepower diesel engine, a manual 8-speed gearbox, an electromagnetic Telma retarder, two side swing doors, more comfortable seats, an air-suspended driver's seat, adjustable steering wheel position, air conditioning, ABS and ASR. Its "peculiar" front fascia appears to be artless and simple so far, reminiscent of the first prototypes of the Renault FR1 series.

Series B931E / B932E

The basic is the urban 3-door Karosa B931E with a length of 11 345 mm and a GVW of 18 t, accommodating 102 passengers, including 19-32 seats. At the rear of the machine is a 256 hp Renault in-line 6-cylinder Euro 2 diesel and a Voith or ZF automatic 3- or 4-speed gearbox. A simplified version of the B932E is distinguished by the use of a Czech-made Praga 5-speed manual transmission. On their basis, a city articulated bus B941E for 113 passengers is proposed, equipped with a French diesel engine of 295 hp. turbocharged and automatic 3-speed gearbox. Its length is 17.6 m, gross weight is 26 tons. The intercity version of the C934E, perhaps, is no different from the urban B932E, except for the installation of two side folding doors and the layout of the cabin for 45 seats.

Series С935Е

The Karosa C935E is considered to be a high-class intercity bus, but all its differences come down to three types of interior layout for 45-49 comfortable seats and the installation of an electromagnetic retarder brake.
